Elizabeth Pickerd – born c1845 in Bristol

Post by BeeJayEss »

Elizabeth Pickerd was baptized at St Mary Redcliffe church in Bristol on 6 April 1845, her father is William, a Smith her mother is Sarah.

She married George Pullen on 26 December 1867 at Bristol Register Office. They had 4 children (I have all certificates) :-

William (1868 – 1870)
Elizabeth Ann (1871 -1897)
Mary Ann (1874 – 1931)
Rosina (1876 – 1879)

George Pullen died on 23 May 1877.

Elizabeth married Tom Parker Gibbons on 7 October 1888.

She is on the 1871, 1881, 1891 and 1901 census.

She died 16 July 1904.

Any help tracing a birth registration or entry on the 1851 and 1861 census would be gratefully received. Thank you, in advance.

I have found her in Bristol in 1851, the surname is transcribed as Pickard and her mother's Christian name has been incorrectly transcribed as Saras.
As of yet, I haven't been able to find anything to do with the 1861 census.

In 1861 I think she is a servant in the home of Isaac & Mary Fudge at 1 Thomas Lane, Bristol. Her surname is transcribed as Richard, but the image is Pickard.

Can't find a birth with MMN Reynolds. William married as Pickard but nothing comes up with P* search for Elizabeth.

Yes that baptism is her, although I've not seen any other reference to the middle name "Sophia". Thank you for finding the 1851 census entry, that's brilliant. Saras!! Thanks again Artognou.
