TNA to close early on 21 July

Post by Thunder »

I have yet to receive a reply from TNA as to why they are closing early, why are they so secretive and so much for their transparency agenda!. They are due to open Cabinet Office and Prime MInisters' records at the end of July but if so IMO they should just say so. Let's hope they don't make another almighty error like when they released the Grimsby Crown Court Indictments records for 2003 back in January when they should have been closed until 2104 (a 100-year closure!!).

Could it be as simple as to be because of the train and tube strikes at the end of the month, and being a Friday?

Sally,

They have now told me it is because they want to have a staff meeting. Shame they didn't say that before. Researchers have had many new limits on accessing documents.
