1921 Census: regional hubs

Post by Thunder »

TNA have announced two (!) regional hubs (Manchester Central Library and the National Library of Wales) to access the Census when it comes out, probably to stop people going to Kew, if they can. Of course this idea of regional hubs is nothing new as Scotland has had regional hubs for their records available for some time. They do need more than just two regional hubs. Personally, with my researcher hat on, I would like to just look through the original records at Kew (like we used to) but I realise that is not possible for many people and FMP would lose money!.
