Hi Norfolk Nan, Thanks for your help. I also checked the Lancs Parish Reg's but didn't see Oggins & no Ogins at all. Yes there were quite a few Mary Hodgsons in the Regs but none around her birth year - if that is correct, of course. I have "kind of adopted" a Mary bapt 24th October 18...
