We welcome any query on Who When Where. If you have previously posted it on another forum (including the old WDYTYA forum), please state this in your opening post - this will save people redoing the research which has been done before: they can look at it and possibly go further with it.

Re: Brick Wall - Raymond Carey Webb b.1893

@woodchal, I have searched Military records, but with so many Raymond Webb's and no middle initials for many of them, plus I have no idea where 'my' Raymond originally came from, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. I've checked newspaper reports too, but with many archives only going back ...

Re: Brick Wall - Raymond Carey Webb b.1893

@Woodchal, There is clearly a circumstantial connection to the Raymond Webb b.1893 in Brinkworth, Wiltshire and married Daisy May Carey. I doubt if there are too many “Carey”s. I opted for sharing and have plenty of small matches, but none close enough to be of use yet. I'm looking for...

Brick Wall - Raymond Carey Webb b.1893

My great grandfather's name was Raymond Carey Webb b.1893. I know he was born in 1893 because he 's registered on the 1939 Directory under that name. That name is also associated with Doreen Lucy Udall, my great grandmother whose name I know is right because I have her whole family tree. Raymond Car...
