Colour Schemes
Is there a different colour scheme available? I am sometimes finding it difficult to spot unread posts (and forums), and wished they were more prominent! Making them flash would suffice

Re: Colour Schemes
If wanting to locate unread posts is really, really, all you want to do, then Quick Links / Unread Posts from the front of the forum works - you see all the threads that you've not fully read. Then there's an icon on the thread of a little red (?) card to take you to the first unread post in that thread.

That's the problem Adrian, your little red (?) card isn't prominent enough. Instead of just turning it red, which is hard to spot, making it flash would make it stand out more. The lines are so thin it is hard to spot when it simply changes from Blue to Red.AdrianBruce wrote: ↑08 Apr 2021, 12:40 Then there's an icon on the thread of a little red (?) card to take you to the first unread post in that thread.

Thanks for raising this. I'll see if we can do anything about it and report back.

Re: Colour Schemes
Are we talking about the same thing? (I've had to screenshot the Family Historian User Group but I'm using the same colour scheme). This shows the start of the entire site after I've used the Quick Links / Unread Posts menu option from the front of the forum. Using that option all the threads shown have an unread element in them, and no wholly-read threads appear. The red-card to which I refer is between the circle and the title.Mick Loney wrote: ↑08 Apr 2021, 17:13...

If I look at a specific section of the forum, rather than use Quick Links / Unread Posts, so I'm seeing both read and unread, then I see this sort of thing: I can see how the blue barred circles and the red barred circles are not dramatically different - but the red-card (between the circle and the title) stands out for me.
So for me, the way I work, I don't even need to see the red-card to see the threads with unread bits, because they're all unread when I use Quick Links / Unread Posts. And even when I don't, that card icon stands out for me. So sorry but that's why I'm wondering if we're talking at cross purposes? Either that or my perception of blue / red is not the same as yours - quite possible, of course.
(There is one flaw in my process - once I've read a thread, it's still there in its unread colours until I refresh the view).
